Not everyone may be aware of Yahoo!’s new YouWitness News service, so here’s a brief run-down on it.
YouWitness is a new project Yahoo! News has put forward to allow amateur photojournalists (and video-journalists) to submit work to Yahoo! News; if accepted, you’ll be paid.

Well, this is an experiment. I expect for some time, it will mostly be me and Kaylan playing around in photos, and me and the two Jens playing around in Writing. The Weekly Writing challenge will be hosted here, as soon as I come up with a Wordpress plugin for it!
But eventually we may well find other people to post content and stuff, too! In the meantime, I’m certainly willing to entertain other ideas as to what to do with this particular site.
